Project Description
eQuinelle Residential and Golf Course Community is a long term, multi-phase 1,100 lot master planned residential community based around an 18-hole championship golf course and commercial lands. Novatech has been working on this project since 1989, providing a full range of services across all aspects of this development.
Our engineering team provided a comprehensive feasibility analysis, concept preparation, and a phased servicing plan, as well as preliminary and detailed design of on-site and off-site municipal infrastructure, including sewers, watermains, roads, and utilities. Grading and drainage design, streetscape, and municipal parks and recreation facilities were also developed. The project further included stormwater management design, featuring multiple stormwater ponds which are an integral part of the golf course, two sanitary pump stations, and a water storage facility with a 2.5km extension of municipal water and sewer to the Town of Kemptville. Intersection modifications were executed alongside detailed planning of the golf course clubhouse, maintenance facility, pro-shop, recreation facilities, and irrigation inlet and design. The scope of work also covered contract preparation, construction management, and inspections, securing approvals from Municipal, Provincial, and Federal authorities. This comprehensive approach facilitated multiple subdivision plan registrations and the preparation of site plans for building permits.
