Civil Engineering Inspector
Description
Candidates should possess a College diploma and/or civil construction experience. Ability to work in a collaborative team is essential. Experience with AutoCAD and Civil 3D is required. This is a full time position with 40-50 hours a week during peak construction season. Pay will be an hourly rate based on experience.
Responsibilities
- Coordination and communication with civil engineers, planners and landscape architects and other project team members as part of an integrated project team.
- Inspection of heavy civil construction projects, responsible for quality and quantity assurance, preparation of payment certificates and some survey duties if required.
- Compile daily or weekly inspection reports on various construction sites.
- Construction layout of sewers, watermains, sidewalks, curbs, utilities and roadways, or pre-engineering surveys using a total station or GPS instrument when called upon to work as a survey crew member.
Skills & Qualifications

Description
