Civil Engineering - Transportation (New Graduate)

Novatech is seeking a new graduate to join our established and driven Transportation Team.  We are looking for an individual who is passionate about traffic and transportation operations. Responsibilities

  • Assist with traffic impact analysis and report preparation, including coordinating traffic counts, calculating growth rates, trip generation, assessing traffic impact at access locations/nearby intersections and compiling recommended roadway improvements
  • Contribute to the development of design concepts into preliminary designs, including preparation of design briefs, detailed geometry & general layout development, and other infrastructure elements

Responsibilities

Inspector (Student)

We are seeking a civil engineering student to join our Novatech field inspection team starting January 2025 for an 8-month term or 1 year term.  You will receive guidance from a seasoned inspector who will train you in conducting  construction inspections and contract administration to municipalities, land developers, and other clients for civil engineering linear infrastructure and site works projects.   If you appreciate seeing projects progress, liaising with a diverse group of contractors and consultants and enjoy attention to detail, this may be an ideal fit.
