If your resume looks like a good fit for our team, we will reach out to schedule an interview—usually with someone from our HR group and the senior manager responsible for the firm’s practice in your area of expertise.

The interview(s) went well, and now it's time to nail down the details. We will work with you to confirm your role and responsibilities, contract, compensation, and benefits package.

It’s important to us that our team has the tools they need to do their best work, and our tools, like our specialties, are always evolving. At Novatech, we’re consistent early adopters of leading-edge software and specialty programs such as SWMHYMO, HEC-RAS, PCSWMM/EPA SWMM, SWMHYMO/Visual OTTHYMO, Bluebeam, Syncro, AutoTurn, and more.

Every team member has the opportunity to make impactful problem-solving contributions to our projects. Most often, this means working on cross-disciplinary teams that combine diverse expertise to address varied requirements. Because each project is unique, our project teams develop workflows that make the most sense for them. It’s part of what makes them so effective in bringing their best to the table.

However, some parts of working on Novatech projects always stay the same! For you, this includes insight into early decision-making, individual and team mentorship, and the ability to participate during transformative phases of the projects you’re on. Here are some examples of what this might look like:

  1. Collaborate during workload coordination, construction coordination, and project team meetings
  2. Conduct site visits to align with construction and inspection staff
  3. Communicate with approvals agencies, external consultants, Ontario land surveyors, and municipal councilors
  4. Gain visibility of high-level decision-making at the start of each project
    1. Make your mark in the details and preparation of technical work like approvals applications, reports, and construction drawings through to close-out.
