Novatech has been involved in multiple Amazon warehouse projects.
Novatech provided site servicing, grading, drainage, stormwater management, planning, traffic, transportation and landscape architecture services for an office and light industrial development located southeast of the Highway 416 and Fallowfield Road interchange in Ottawa. Located at the west and south legs of the Citigate Drive/Crosskeys Place roundabout, the site has an area of 25.95 hectares with a development that consists of a 2.7M sq. ft. building, approximately 2,000 parking spaces, and 50 loading docks. This project was completed on very tight timelines to meet the needs of the client.
Novatech was responsible for delivering site servicing, grading, drainage, stormwater management, planning, traffic, transportation and landscape architecture services. This one million square foot building project involved an extension of the Carlsbad Springs “Trickle Feed” water system, design of a sewage treatment facility, channel relocations, fish habitat preservation, and Ministry of Transportation (MTO) and City of Ottawa signal design and intersection modifications. The stormwater management facility was designed to operate by gravity up to the 5-year design storm, then a duplex pump system delivered the flows up to the 100-year design storm. Oversight and coordination of tendering, construction inspection and contract administration was also provided.
